@foon yeah I'd agree with that from the one we tried at least, fortunately I tweaked a few things before making it cause the recipe sounded off
@ivy loosely followed the sauce bit from the one on their site but put a less agar agar in (probably still too much) https://www.juicymarbles.com/recipes/pomegranate-bordelaise when I do it again I'll do less salt and probs like 1/2 tsp of agar agar (just over 1tsp was too much). I used malasses rather than sugar so dunno if that also made it extra thick

It's very disheartening to see that in the space of a month, the majority of images on my feed went from being described to having not even one sentence as a description. I started ID-ing on tumblr but #Mastodon really encouraged me to make it an actual habit.

@shearsjt@mastodon.social yeah, can relate! I used to think I was very extroverted but turns out I just drank too much, so spent the last 3 years re-learning how to deal with social anxiety in a slightly less harmful way
Thing I find tricky about mastodon is initiating conversation with randos; it seems fairly critical to getting the most out of things round here but for someone who struggles to instigate conversation with close family members/friends when they are not in the same room it feels fairly jarring. Folks find this weird since I'm fairly extrovert IRL and once the conversation is going there is often no shutting me up :/ #introvert #extrovert #fedi #community

The news reporters are infuriating making it seem like the NHS workers striking over being overworked and underpaid are the enemy.
The government is the enemy.
They’re the ones who have caused this with their money grabbing behaviour and disregard for human life.
